By popular demand we are offering an OTR...GJ... to coincide with Easter Jeep Week.
This 2 day class will get you tuned up and prepared for going over to play in Moab - or anywhere for that matter!! The Grand Junction area has fantastic terrain to learn on and gain experience with Bill teaching and watching.
Day 1: we will cover all the 4wd systems, terminology and technology, tackle some technical (non-damaging) terrain for 'bump' steer, hills, gullies, wash-outs, and gain confidence with your driver skill sets and get comfortable with your rig.
Day 2: we will travel a tough local trail - Bangs Canyon - (non-damaging) and cover Slickrock, rock crawl, spotting, line choice, trail etiquette and awareness. Recovery skill set scenarios on both days covering Hi-Lift Jack, recovery ropes/straps, winching and other field expedient get-unstuck practices! Extensive hand out booklet, training by Bill, use of Bill's equipment and tools are all included. This is a very comprehensive 2 day class. All levels of experience (and rigs) are welcome. Vehicle must be "standard" 4wd with a 2-speed transfer case (centre diff), good tires, frame mounted recovery points F/R (receiver hitch OK), CB radio helpful. 2 full days in the field - bring lunch, water, snacks and dress for the outdoors.
Cost is per vehicle - bring a buddy or spouse. $520 per vehicle; 50% deposit of $260. will hold your spot!
